The Company
Specisoft S.A. was founded in 1987. It is a company that develops specialized financial and business software, with main feature the development of software containing knowledge, high specificity, specific algorithms optimization and very large-scale of data processing.
The software includes: Business Plan and Financial Analysis according to the International Accounting Standards. This software can be used by any company, regardless the Industry it belongs to. It helps the enterprises make their financial analysis and business planning in a faster and more efficient way. The software is easy to use as you only have to enter the data needed and the result is a case study as if it was made by a financial expert. The difference between the financial expert and the software is that the software will have the case study ready in less than half the time needed for someone to make it, with no mistakes at all.
It runs in WINDOWS environment, locally, in a network, as well as on the Internet.
All employees in the company are university graduates. In addition, the company employs external business partners with great experience, business people with postgraduate qualifications (Masters and PhD) and also has consultants who are university professors.
The customers of the company are Enterprises, Business Consultants, Accountancy Offices, Government Agencies, and Municipalities etc. Among the customers (the company has got more than seventeen hundred customers) there are many of the largest Greek companies which 85 of them are listed in the Athens Stock Exchange.
Very significant customers are the Universities and Technical Schools, Professional Training (government and private educational institutions), Colleges, Professional Training Centers, etc. which they use the company’s software for the students’ educational training.
The company’s strategy is to expand in the world market of specialized software, where the incorporation knowledge in the software programs is of high interest. Specisoft can be classified as the company of knowledge through the knowledge of economy.
